Hey guys iam installaling a Alpine headunit into my 2002 maxima SE, I do not have the Antenna Adapter, So i did not plug it in but for some reason the headunit does not power on Please help is it necessary to plug in or have antenna adapter for it to power on i understadn the radio does not work.

 

No, should power up without the antenna plugged in. Grab a DMM or test light and make sure you have poiwer to the constant and switch, and a good ground.
