remote starters??viper

remote starters??viper

did anyone install remote starters??i jsut ordered the viper 791xv.is this installed on the current factory alarm..

I have the Clifford Matrix 3.5RS with remote start and I believe it is the same exact alarm, both made by DEI. I got the clifford because the remote looked cooler (carbon fiber) If you ordered what is on the link then no it is a complete separate alarm system. My stock alarm does still work even though it's nothing more than door triggers.

when installing aftermarket alarm/starter... does the factory one still work with full functions?

What did u guys pay 4 the install? I was quoted at $350.00 installed because the guy said I need the add on module to integrate my valet key. Is this guy legit and is $350 a good price 4 the viper system installed??

A bit high, but still normal considering dealers arent suppose to install the systems that didnt come from.
