...that amp doesn't put out no where near 3000watts peak

- if each sub is a dvc 2ohm, you should have each sub wired to its own channel for 1ohm stereo load (rated 400rms x2 @1 )

- you should have 1/0 gauge wire going into the amp from the battery. The amp is a power hog and at 53% efficient full tilt it needs proper wiring- in case you dont have it set up that way

If these are correct these could be your problems
1- those subs plainly suck
2-you amp is putting down no where near what it claims
3- you expect to much out of the Maxima with that power

uhhhhhh no. the amp is 2 ohm stable genious... meaning that i can run 2 2 ohm subs... the amp actually puts out 996 watts rms bridged and 2856 peak bridged... thats about 500 rms one channel @ 2 ohm...thats what the spec sheet says... then the suggested wire size that is supposed to go in is 4 gauge the amp is also 65% efficient.. and lastly those subs do not suck

So its a DVC 4ohm sub(subs) , not 2 'ohm' subs....

I thought youhad a Power T8002 (which I happen to own BTW), it seems you have the lesser Punch- my misunderstanding - Anyways dont go by those birth certificates-all they are is a piece of paper. You should be seeing 400rms to each sub

Actually those subs do suck, but thats besides the point.

The sheet is just a piece of paper.

That amp will produce No Where near that rating.

Your car couldnt handle anywhere near that power IF the amp was even able to produce it.

Not to hurt your feelings, but I would take lesser rated amps/speakers and **** on the RF products. You fell into the loop of all the RF products hype. Its ok, everyone learns at one point or another.

is there a subsonic filter on that amp? it could be set too high and not give you the low bass.

ummm the box is .75 cubic feet for each sub exactly what the spec sheet suggest for best sound. yea and i have a vented box as well that within specs but the sound isnt that good.. like i said when i crank it it flat lines real fast.. cound it be cuz of the deck?

Then well have to agree to disagree, as Ive dealt with RF for over 10years. So if your ears likethem thats fine, I was just stating facts as well as personal preference, not Just opinions.

Well... like iv been saying jenson is crap and cerwin vega isnt that great either but sound quality wise it sounds real good.. and since what i got in my car is a whole lot better then what my buddy has... how on earth does his sound better...and is over all louder... could the pioneer deck be the culprit i have a booser amp connected to the rca giving me about 3.8 volt pre-output. which doesnt show any clipping...? i just need some answers cuz it probably someting real stupid thats messed up and im having a real hard time finding it thats all...

how high are your gains set?-Reason i ask is because I've had to have the gains on the T8002 nearly at 80-90% (no kidding) to a set of Diamond CM3 components(120rms) to get them to even play as loud as you'd expect from an underated 125rms per ch amp- mind boggling actually. I know its not the amp, the first fried and RF issued me a new one-same thing
This off a 4v JVC Arsenal deck

well the gains are set to about 70% on the amp and neg 1 on the radio... and about 70 on the bass ****... the other gains on the radio are set to 3 on the equalizer (out of 6) and cut off is set to 100 hertz

70 is about the limit, but you have a line driver it shouldnt be that high. you should lower your gain to half way and raise up the sub controller. is the bass **** the bass boost? if its a good sub you dont need it it should be at zero
