Ordered dampining, where do I put it?

I just purchased 60 sq ft of edead v1 and I'm wondering where are the most effective places to put it in a sub equipped 4th gen max. Right now I plan on doing two layers to back deck and two layers to the trunk lid.

I don't care what rattling people here on the outside of the car, I just care about the inside. Majority of the rattling is obviously coming from the rear because of the subs. Any suggestions are appreciated.

dont forget the wheel wells and the rear quarter panels. a TON of noise comes from there.

I have ripped apart the entire rear of the car. The places I would go to, which seemed to produce 90% of all the rattling were the rear deck(obviously), the C-pillars and the face plates that surround the ski pass area. Not sure if the 97' has that though. The one hole I will shoot in the, "I don't car what rattling people hear on the outside of the car", theory is that those noises translate into the cabin. once you have subdued the major rattles, they will be heard inside as well. I know that deadner is very expensive, and am not suggestion that you blow all of your icecream money on it. The extent to which you are going to go is up to you. I just wanted to let you know what I experienced, as well as how I plan to address the issue.

many of the rattles can be fixed by taping or gluing things down under the rear deck and such as well.. little plastic clips on things, put some tape on them or felt around the holes in the rear deck.. wire harnesses that are rattling against the sheet metal, use hot glue or duct tape and tape them down so they don't rattle against the metal.

do small stuff like that while you're in there covering the large panels with damping material, and your money will to a lot farther.
also use cheaper felt, open-cell foam, and thin carpet pads where you can.. be creative...
I put about $120 in sound damping materials on my car and it's now so quiet that I can hear myself breathe at 110mph.

Everyone's coming up with some real good ideas for you, Batxel. One thing I would add is to dismantle all the seats and the rear deck covering, etc. and sit back there with the bass on and physically check to see what's rattling and go from there.
