I've put the Nissan Sirius tuner in my 6 gen and while I really dig the factory integrated display and buttons... there is a delay of 'dead time' when changing channels, whether a preset station or just tuning up or down a channel. Do you guys with the XM unit have the same issue?

I wasn't sure if this was a feature of the Nissan radio or just a Sirius thing. I have an XM pnp unit in my other car and the change from one channel to another goes pretty quickly.

Main reason I'm asking is because I plan on getting the XM unit and selling the Sirius... asking $250 for unit with Sirius antenna, if anyone is interested let me know.

 

yes its normal. I have XM and theres a delay.
