dvd player install woes. HELP ME!

so im going the dvd player route and im bout to order a microvision to put in my dash. well i had a bose system so i bought the Pac-oem1 and hooked it up to my dvd player. and as i was doin so i notices a few wires didnt go to the dvd player such as..the orange illumination/dimmer and blue/white amp trigger. everything else went fine. so i go to plug it in and i notice the old Huge power supply for the bose is jus hangin there. What do i do with that?? also i plug everything in and i get power cuz the little LED flashes when the face plates not on. but when i put on the face plate i get nothin. as if it has no power. aslo when i plugged everything in and turn on the car the antenna goes up. so at this point i have no idea. PLEASE HELP

What model HU do you have? I just installed my Pioneer DVH-P5000MP and a 7" screen that I had from my old car and it works great. The Ill/dim wire I left off because It was not needed. The remote amp turn on I wired to my power antenna wire and to a wire that I plan to use for my amps when I install them. Did you remove your bose system or are you still using the bose speakers?

Sure you have all the wiring attached right from your headunit to the PAC unit?
