ok, i have a 97' se, w/ the bose stereo, i have recently boughten a alpine cva-1005 i hooked the wiring harness up and everything, but i get no Audio could this be becuase the stock bose amps aren't turning on, if so, how do i get them to turn on?????? can i even run an aftermarked HU w/o changing all the speakers??? i really like the sound of the bose, and don't wanna spend the money to change them cuz im savin up for some 18" wheels!!!!!

Dude you can run it fine with the stock amp and speakers.

Did you locate an Alpine dealer near you?

What wiring harness did you get? If you did not purchase one specifically for adapting non-Bose head units to the existing stereo wiring in the Maxima, then that is a definite problem. They typically cost between $49-59 USD. Visit Crutchfield and/or SoundDomain for further details.
