I was looking for a past thread that gave information on installing the front speakers. I've done a search, can't find S**T. Please help, my Infinity Kappa Components get in tomorrow. Thanks in advance.

what installation help you need?

given more details could help us help you
you have a BOSE system?
do you have amp?
if you have BOSE, you need a amp, the stock BOSE's amp will not be good for your kappa.
you want to put it in the door housing or customized kick panel?
what size is your kappa? only 6 1/2" is good for the BOSE housing, but you still need some metal bar to use the screw holes.

hope that helps

I'm sorry I didn't give more info. (self smack) I have a 99 GXE, no bose. Yeahhhhhhhh. Nope, I just need to know how to get behind the door to replace the speakers. I'm going to fabricate something for my tweeters. My speakers should be at my house, when I get off of work.

here you go.

so you need to know how to open the door panel.
door panel usually has some screw on the upper part of the door panel and some clips on the lower part of the door panel. use prybar to pry off the screw plastic cover. there is a screw under the door handle.

First find all screws and unscrew them.
then pull the lower part of the door panel.
now the door panel should be loose.
then push the door panel upward.
there are wires connected from the door to the door panel. so don't pull that hard and fast.
disconnect the wires and you will have access to the speaker now.

good luck.

I have some instruction photos(not many) for my lexus.

check it out first so you might find sth useful.
