So you chose a satillite provider with LESS channels for the sole reason of Stern...

Did you have to deal with all the crap-as$ backup on 130 from the 295 accident today?

from what i was told from a rep of XM radio, XM and sirius are merging so there will be more premium channels and more channels all around and price was to be said around 15 bux a month. I have XM and i love it.
only downside of sirius is no BASEBALL games, BOOOO sirius!
as for music, so much variety, i have to agree with u boyz.
for music, go sirius (the hip-hop channels are pretty ok, but the DJs are corny).
for sports, i would pick XM.
such shame on sirius for not providing me with my METS games.....bah!

i voted for am/fm cassette...cause..well..i don't listen to sports in the car, and I've got an mp3 player I connect to my aux input on my h/u..i listen to the local stations for news if I need to

for the sake of info...
xm now has discounts on multiple recievers
no more premiums
free web streaming
and programming... ehh, it's debatable. XM's top 40 blows hardcore, but their rock channels are better than sirius' imo.
Pretty much it's a toss up either way. I have both currently, but when the price jumps when stern comes on to sirius I will be dropping it.

I haven't heard Liquid Metal in a long time, but I doubt it could even come close to Sirius's Hard Attack for the best metal programming you will ever hear.
And Sirius and XM are NOT merging...
