what kind of amp for w3v2

hey everyone,

I was wondering what amp would be best to push a 12" w3v2?

I have a 12w3v2 running off of a Phoenix Gold 8.0:1 mono amp. The amp pushes 800 watts at 2 ohm so I run the JL off 4 ohms at 300-400 watts RMS. This is plenty for that sub. It get so flippin loud and deep you don't need this much power. Try a Phoenix Gold 5.0:1, it's about 250-300 watts RMS and is reasonably priced at around $160-180 on ebay.
