yeah, i've also read/heard that highs will kill your ears faster than bass.

Yea for sure, on the highs killin your ears..... hummm makes me think about that damn ringing i hear sometimes when i get out of my car! DOH!!!

If ID really did design the w7, then it makes sense that they sold it.The increased production costs for a sub that performs much like a sub they already make (IDMAX) isn't worth it. Not to mention they couldn't sell a sub for $750 like JL can.

highs will kill your ears given the same spl........too bad 140db at 10kHz is worlds different from 140db at 40Hz. your highs would never be that loud....i'd hope
