Upgrading too 140 amp alternator???

Hey all, was wondering, since my alternator is on its way out the door. would it be worth the extra 50 bucks too upgrade too a 140 amp alternator vr a reg. 110 amp stock alternator for a 2000 maxima??? i have a little bit of a system, JL 500.1 and a kicker KX650.4. plus i plan too add some extra electrical doodads and HIDs in the future.... would it be worth the little bit extra coin?....i say 50 bucks, but anywhere from 50-100 bucks depending on if i want too get a used alternator or not...used ones range from 30-90 bucks... new remanufactured of course was 110...and the 140 was 150 i beleive........ and on a side note...does anyone know of anyplace that sells alternators for our cars? i got a 2k max....would like too shop around....?....

HIDs uses less power than regular halogens so i wouldn't worry about that. and with the power your system is putting out, i don't think you'll need the larger alt.
