Amp feed back while accelerating

ok so today i installed my new amp and sub, but now im gettin a werid whine/feedback type noise, i havent used any type of rubber grovement in the fire wall, but i am gonna pick one up tommorw, will this solve my problem, or is it that i have cheap rca cables and they are picking it up from the power wire(the power and rca are one the same side of the car but i have heard many things sayin that it dosent matter, and just as many saying it does)

Switch the RCA and see. It really depends upon the cables you have. Mine work just fine... I have the twisted Streetwires. I haven't had any problems using them. Of course mine are setup in a truck. Much shorter area running together compared to a car.

I do know that the magnetic fields from the power wire could interfere with the rca cables. I have proven it with other scenarios, not car audio, and it is true. So if you can, after you switch out the rca's and it still does it, try to seperare the wires from each other. Like I always say though, I don't know everything, but I'm sure it is worth the try.

Were are you amps grounded? How are they grounded and how long is the wire? This is the first thing I would check. Make sure you have a clena ground and scrape away any paint.

I like to ground my amps and HU together. You also can use lamp cord or a medum guage wire - you don't have to go crazy with the ground. I never have wine like you describe.

check your grounds and make sure they're making good contact with the frame of the car.
