Man. Im gonna permanently save all this typing in Microsoft word so I can copy and paste it a couple times a week. Its not your fault though hitman im just ranting lol.

Yes. You have a few options:

1) You can wire it up as a normal head unit without any Bose adapters, and have a small risk of burning up the Bose amp.
2) You can buy the $50 PAC or Scosche adapter
3) You can wire the deck's preouts so you send an unamplified signal to the Bose amps. You have front a rear preouts. Each of those has a left (white) and right (red). So youd plug in RCAs to all the front preouts. When you cut the front left, there will be 2 single wires inside it. Wire those to white and white/black. When you cut the front right, do the same and wire those to gray and gray/black. Do the same for the rears, Rear left will be the green and green/black, and Rear right will be purple and purple/black.
4) You can buy the Metra 70-7551 (which is usually hard to find locally) which will already have all of #3 above done for you, so you can just plug stuff in.

Yup. All you need for options 3 or 4 are front and rear preouts, which if your in the price range of a 6500 or 7500dvd, you shouldnt hafta worry about it. All those will have 3 pairs of preouts

Do you really need the PD-2424? Doesnt the 6400 play dvd/cd/mp3?

But in any case, it would just be connected through RCA cables (yellow for video, and red and white for audio)

AVH-P6400

AVH-P7500

Looks like P6400 is just like a cd/radio player, and P7500 is DVD/DVD-R/RW/ CD/CD-R/-RW/Video-CD

Ahh yes. I wouldve been able to tell from the full model number. I havent seen a 6400 in person, theyre just before my time, but Ive seen the 6500dvd and 6600dvd so I figured yours was dvd too just a previous model. That sucks.

Anyway,

You should be able to get the trim piece from Crutchfield.com that is where I got mine from originally for $19 bucks. Plus they also throw in a radio installation guide specific to your maxima.
