Forgive my ignorance, but these won't fit in my car without a whole lot of effin around right?

I think my front door grilles will hold a 6.5" or 6.75" speaker.. these are 7" right...

Yes they will fit in the stock location without much effort at all. In fact, my Dynaudios are 7" and They have been mounted in the stock factory mounts for some time now. An MDF (particle board) baffle attatched where the stock mount was is the best solution. Only other option is kick pods. But for what I think you'd be looking for they'd be perfect.....
