Im one click away from buyin these speakers and i just wanted to make sure its not a mistake to buy components without a crossover, cause from what i can tell its not included, and i suppose its just built into the speaker to filter the highs and what not. Tell me what you think! Thanks.

I have kenwoods in the back, so i figured id stay with the same brand, and these are a damn good price. THanks!
Heres the link to them:

I've never seen separates that don't have an outboard passive xover. I wouldn't get those.

A passive crossover is basically just a capacitor of specific value hooked up in parallel. If it says that it's built in, then it just means that the capacitor is placed on the back of the speaker instead of in a seperate box...
same concept used in in-line bass blockers... etc.

I wouldn't try to push full range on speakers not designed for it. For the tweeters it wouldn't matter, they couldn't handle low frequencies by design. However the mids and subs could break (surrounds, cones, etc) without crossovers or blockers.
