cdt cl62's nwiceeee

just got my cdt's in the mail today, took about 4 hours to do everything, taking the doors off, putting my new radioshack dremel to work, smoked, painted my speaker covers black. these speakers were a replacement for my infiniti kappas(no tweeter). let me just say these blow the infinitis away. i finaly know what a true soundstage sounds like. awsome! its also cool you can rotate the tweeters while there in the door

no idea why the pictures came out like that
check out my cardomain

There's no pics of it on ur cardomain. most of us here have speakers/components in our cars, nothing special going on here.

EDIT: oh man I'm starting to make this sound like the 4th gen forum

I am a huge fan of the cl61's and 2's. I really like the sound reproduction and warmth. Good choice.

I have some ef-61s on the way. Should be here Weds or thurs. Im thinking about putting the tweets in the sail panel deal that hides the outside mirror screws. Im hoping that there is some room back there to mount it but I haven't ever taken that little panel off. Anyone have opinions on whether thats a decent place to mount the tweets? I figure that would be better than putting holes in the door panels themselves.

I installed my EFs tonight and they are freaking awesome. I was able to flush mount the tweeters in the sail panels but barely. I had to cut some sheet metal away from the inside of the door to give them enough room to fit flush against the panel. Im psyched big time. I can't stop listening to these things mang For 175 shipped these can't be beat. I hear they are even better when they break in some.
