Basslink vs Bazooka ?
Basslink vs Bazooka ?
Well I think I won't put another system in the Max due to the heavy weight and all the room it took up in my car. Another problem I have is I had my Alpine amp serviced 2 times now and it played for whoppn 15 min last time till started smoking REALLY BAD. I am taking it in to the repair shop who warranties their repairs for 90 days to get this thing fixed and probably will Ebay it off. MRV-1507 amp, which I never got to test out since it keeps on frying out. I know I installed it right so its not a problem with the install.
However I previously had a Bazzooka RS8, which was a 8" amplified tube, and it sounded pretty good. It was light weight and ez to remove when I was out racing or what not.
I'm looking to get some info on the Infinity Basslink, I heard one in a RSX and it sounded reallllly bad. Are these things just that bad ??? I am thinking of picking one up, or a 10" Bazzooka RS10 which has a 150W RMS amp. I just dont know which one will sound better. I loved my RS8 previously, and that unit is still going strong (8years old now) in my friends BMW.
Can anyone suggest something here ? I am quite upset that my Titanium Eclipse 12 will go unused since I keep on having amp problems.
