Well i had the viper 791xv installed professionaly and now when i drive the car turns off by it self after about 20-25 minutes even with the key in the igntion so when im driving on the highway it just decides to turn off The lights on the dashboard comes on along with the dome light and the courtesy lights..The car will crank but wont turn over untill i hit the lock button and then the unlock button. I was wondering is their some kind of setting i can change or maybe their is a wire thats grounded out i do not know. Does anyone know if i can do anything because their shop isnt open untill monday please let me know asap thanks.

 

Sound like the brake wire isnt connected.

 

i have to bring it back to them but im afraid to drive it cuz i know with my luck ill end up crashing. I can go look at the brake wire though ill let you know.

 

where is the brake wire ? What should it be connected to.

 

Its at the brake pedal and should be connected to the this brown wire on the alarm. Although I would let them do it, as they may refuse you if you attempt it on your own.

 

im just gonna check it out see if anything is obvious because i really cant drive the car. While driving the car just shuts off and i have no power steering and such thats why if its something obvious i would like to try and fix it my self. Thanks for the help. It shuts off all the time or only when you remote start it?

 

i just remote started it and it didnt happen. But when i start the car with the key it seems to turn off.
