I will be replacing my front and rear door speakers. I want some GOOD mid bass speakers. I'm looking in the hundred a pair range. I dont want any 300 dollar components. Although I might do that in the front. Dunno yet. Toss me some ideas. I already replaced the rear deck with kicker 6x9's.
I'm a non bose set-up. But will be getting the stock bose cd changer and rack soon

Well on lack of intrest on this thread I just bought a pair of polk audio 6 1/2 coax for the rear doors. I think there db650 type. Hope they sound good.! I'll look into maybe components for the front doors. Probablly polk momo's.

They have a DD6.5W that would work.

The XXX mids are awesome, and the installation would be similar to the DD. (MDF ring because of depth issues).

Check out the Dayton Loudspeaker brand. They have some pretty beefy 6" mids and some cheap prices. Just be aware that they may be a bit too deep for your door panels.
All of these will not just drop-in the factory location. Some modification may be needed, and amplification is required. Good luck!
