wow i just did this today....well i'll show you some pix tomorrow if i get a chance...wat i did was i wired in an inverter to the 12volt outlet and mount that in the trunk. i doubleside taped it and zip tied it to the top of the trunk...it ain't going anywhere. Since i have 2 head rest LCDs i decided to put my ps2 on the top of the rear seats on the dash. ran the wires down that little black thing...the baby chair thingy. Then zip ties the wire to the inverter. Ran the A\V wires through the back seats and inside the door thingy and to the front seats. I have my inverter on all the time so when i turn the car on the ps2 gets power. I'll show you some pix tomorrow so you'll see wat i did and understand what i'm saying.

Inverter doublesided tape and ziptied to the top of the trunk...it's secured pretty good i tried to move it and it didn't budge.

This isthe wires for the ps2 A\V and power going down that babyseat thingy. Nicely hidden can't see it unless your at an angle.

ps2 is on there with doublesided tape. Left it over night and came out this morning to see if it was gonna move...it's on there tight.

--- you can also put it in the glove compartment....don't know if the old ps2 fits in there but the slim will. Only thing i'm complaining about is the inverter is kinda loud, so i'm gonna make an on and off switch for it right where the shifter is so i can turn it on and off. I got 5% tints in the back so no *** can see and steal my ps2

nice pics, thanks for the info.

I wnet through today and got a power inverter, and i mounted the ps2 in the glove and ran the wires to the center console. ran the power to the inverter to a switch and just grounded it to the center console metal. i hooked up the TV to the CD player power and put the audios in the CD player aux. and hooked up the video. and shabama bam TV wit ps2 up in it!

Aren't you worried about thieves? That PS2 is like so open to everyone and anyone to see.. Or do you have tints, I can't really tell that well.

He posted earlier that he had 5% tint. If I hadn't seen that post earlier i would have wondered the same thing. That's some ingenious stuff. I have been wondering the same thing about how to mount my inverter and PS2 slim. Now i have an idea. Great pics.

yeah the headrests lcd are stright. somehow it looked slanted in there. I was planning on hooking up the ps2 in the glove compartment but...i figured i wasn't gonna be playing much, cuz i'm driving...., so i hooked it up in the back so the ppl in the back could get an easy handle on it. Only thing i'm complaning about is the freaken inverter's fan is loud...and yeah i got some 5% tints. They can't see my **** so it's all good. I didn't hook up the ps2 to the sound though...i'm planning to hook up 2 speakers in the back dash just for the ps2, once i get my carpc up i'm gonna hook the ps2 up to that too. btw...where did you mount the inverter?
