Rear defrost, sunroof w/remote start?

How about it? Does anyone have wiring schematics for the rear defrost and sunroof circuits on a 2005?

I want to be able to turn on the rear defrost and maybe close the sunroof via the remote start. I believe the rear defrost and sunroof are operated by the body computer so this should be possible.

It would be great if anyone could help with this!!
Thanks,

Brad

It wont be hard to figure out with a multimeter, theres 1 wire to open and 1 wire to close the sunroof, pull down the switch and cut and test which side of each wire is switch and which side is motor, and hook up a DEI 529T. As for the rear defrost, Im not sure, but there cant be more than a wire or two for that either. Get yourself a good multimeter and start testing.

It fits better here than any other forum, even though the 6th gen forum isnt as bad with the flame wars as the 4th and 5th gen forum, so he could get away with posting it there. But its still electronics related, especially the remote start and sunroof part.

Defrost is pin 9 on the BCM. Did mine over the weekend works fine. Neg pulse is required to turn it on. Make sure you test it... Also states that in the service manual... Oh and its a white wire...

All the wires can be access from the bcm including door lock and unlock, trunk pop, lights (I used turn signals and isolated with relays), dome, all door and trunk triggers can't think of anything else. Make sure you test and Meter. Unless you want the roll down feature for windows you do not need to go into the doors. Take a read at this http://www.carsound.com/cgi-bin/UBB_...3;t=002070;p=0, it works. I used pins 11 and 14 with .8 sec neg pulse. Also one thing he has his pin arangements backwards. Accourding to the service manual pin 1 is yellow/green so make you use his as a "reference" and go after the open pins in accordance with the surrounding colors. Lastly, I unpluged the BCM connecter ran the wires through so I can see them come out (just a little) and ziped tied each around the surrounding wires, then I plug it in to ensured contact. Pin 13 did not work for me. FYI Disclaimer: you screw up it's your fault... Good Luck if your doing it yourself, honestly I would pay someone... I just could not find anyone I could trust, if you live by Don have him do it, he is highly praised and well spoken of...

Forgot one thing, Autolights will come on when you start and stay on if you decide to shut down the remote start or it times out, you'll need to cut the door trigger (I used drivers) after the input to the alarms door trigger then place a diode and wire in a neg pulse after shut down (from your alarm/remote start system)...
