See that red connector? It's connected to the + terminal of the battery and it's from the fusible link box. I seen a few pics of Maximas that don't seem to have this red connector. Did they connect it differently somehow? Is there a better way to connect this? Make it a cleaner looking and is it possible to directly connect this withougt the red connector? Sorry for so many questions, but I have been wondering about this for so long. It doesn't seem like anyone know what I'm talking about. I hope that you audio enthusiasts know the answer. Thanks.

Yeah i know exactly what you mean. You can get what's called a battery clamp that goes ontop of your positive battery post and eliminates that ugly red thing. The clamp has three inputs: 1 for power for your audio, 1 for your alternator, and one for something else. (Youll see there are 2 cables in that red thing you have now, the battery clamp acommodates those 2 and your audio power).
Install requires cutting off that ugly red thing and re attaching the wires to the battery clamp. It takes some patience and dexterity but it's worth it. It looks awesome and will provide a much much better connection than a ring terminal.
Ill try to take a picture of my setup -- I have the Lightning audio acid platinum clamp. I think its the Storm series, but I could be wrong, Ill check tommorow.
