Non-bose radio to OEM bose ?

Non-bose radio to OEM bose ?

has anyone done this yet ?? is there any controls that are different ??

Hello I getting off the subject , but i would like to know if anyone out there has added a RCA convertor to your stock radio. If so, could you share instructions on how do you this. Thanks! Roland

Should be easy.

but you will need bose speakers, head unit, and bose amp. Yup all of them to get true bose sound.

Helllppp!!!!

So I install the Bose 6 disc /tape yesterday but its not working properly.. the volume is too low.. I crank it up to 31 but its nothing? any ideas??? do i need to change the controls ????

I think you need to add the Bose amplifier to actually get more output, and also the speakers for quality? I'm not too sure, but it seems like it.

It seems like a waste of time to me. All Bose systems I've dealt with (3rd, 4th, and 5th gen) aren't worth the money, you can build a much better system for much cheaper with aftermarket pieces.

i was after the factory look.. 6 disc for the most part..

I think there was a thread about the differences between the two and I don't think that anything is the same between them. Like even the impedence was different. Wiring, too.

so going from single cd to 6 disk wont work? Hmm I was pondering that. I tried the non bose to bose thread in the sticky and it doesnt work. if anyone has an anwser or has done this please respond here.

the wirngs are ok.. its just the volume part of it.. I think i need to get the bose AMP ?? HMMM.. it does not make any sense...
