Take the fuse out of hte power wire and disconnect and reconnect everything then check anywhere that there is a wire connection to insure that it's connected properly.

Did you check all the speaker connections?

+1 on what nismos said. Speaker wires may be shorting out, and sending the amp into protection mode.

If it has no lights on at all take a test light, turn radio on and check all the power terminals at the amp. Double check ground, it can slightly be loose and still give a signal that it is connected. When it is loose the amp may not power up. I though my amp went out on me, sent it to the dealer, it came back stating no problem. Double check the ground to the chassis and it was slightly loose, reconnected to a better spot, no problems.

Protect mode the amp puts out no sound.

disconnect the speakers and see if the amp stays on or goes into protect right away...if it stays on, you can pretty much assume its a short in your speakers... any kind of over-draw from the speakers will put the amp into protection....

Multimeters are everyones friend. You can tell in a matter of seconds exactly what wires have power, ground, whether speaker wires are grounding out, the ohm load that each speaker is reading at the amp, etc.
