Remote wire for amp

I have everything wired up, Bose HU with aftermarket amp and subs running off the rear speakers, but when i turn off the HU the amp stays on. Only when the ignition is in the "off" position the amp is off. I have the aftermarket remote wire connected to the Bose amp remote wire. So i'm stumped!?!? Should I be connectting it to some other wire? Other than that everything works fine. So what gives?

I only have a sub amp hooked up but I spliced into the red wire where it plugs into the factory amp. Not sure if it is the same color as in an 03. Sounds like it's some sort of accessory wire and not the remote wire.

IIRC the Bose amp 'remote wire' is an accessory, not a remote. Youll be fine the way you have it set up.

at every speaker there are 4 wires, 2 audio for the sound and 2 power for the amp. use the red wire. its the factory amp turn on. dont use the power antenna because either the amp will stay on or it will only work with the radio on.
