which amp?

Which amp performs better? Kenwood KAC-7202 or Power Acoustik LT980? The kenwood is less rms power, and the P-Acoustik amp has more power. Which one will hit hard, but at the same time never miss a note. I was leaning toward the Kenwood, but the price of the Power Acoustik is tempting.

"hits hard" and "never miss a note" is strictly based on the sub. what are you trying to power?

I know some people don't like it when they ask which is better between two products and some azzhole comes on recommending other stuff, but here I go anyway.

To really give solid recommendations, we'd need to know what impedence (in ohms) your subs are.

As far as cheap but nice stuff, I'd look into

the old Crossfire CFA series used on ebay.
The Profile California series of amps (great power for the money) http://www.ikesound.com/category-category_id/131
JBL BP amps or prolly there new models are OK too.
Take another look at the Profile Californias

I think you adding a couple of recommendations is cool. Nothing wrong with pointing someone towards other options.
