Diamond D7104 Amp Help
Diamond D7104 Amp Help
So I just drove cross country and about an hour out of town my amp stopped working. There are normally 6 LEDs that are constantly on (+/- 15, 30 and something else can't think of it on the top of my head).
When i stopped and checked it out, they sort of do a race top to bottom. As I'm 2400 miles away from the place I bought it from, I'm sort of in a pickle. I stopped in Iowa at an authorized dealer (though they only hvae their speakers and not amps). He checked all the wiring and it looked good. I also swapped power from my sub amp and my the D7104 just in case. He believes it to either be a bad power supply or something is trying to pull too much current.
The RCAs are good and all the speakers are wired properly. The amp instantly starts doing this - there is no period where it works. I also tried completely disconnecting the sub amp, thinking that there was a power problem. I have 1/0 running to a distro block in the trunk, which runs 4gauge to the amps. I have a fuse at the battery and fuses on each line to the amps - all of which look good.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
