Opinions on Dual 12 inch subs custom enclosed in box?

Im jus curious if anyone has tried out or heard Dual 12" subs(1100W max) that come enclosed in their own "illuminite" box, along with a Dual amp(460W dynamic power). Model numbers are as follows, Dual XNBP12D on the subs, and Dual XiR2460 2/1 channel amp. I got a good deal on these last week on black friday, 2 subs for $130 w/box and amp came free if i bought the subs. Im wondering if i should bother installing them or not? Anyone have any experience with these? If you need any specs, i can provide it or just . This would be my first time having aftermarket audio in a car, total newbie to this.
I currently have a BOSE system in my 97, and im planning on replacing the headunit with a kenwood 7" flip out touch screen DVD player that i have sitting around. Can i still keep the BOSE speakers, or would i have to replace those too with aftermarket?

go ahead and replace em, and you should check out the FAQ's as well. There's a wealth of information in there. As for dual never heard of it which i won't slam em, but it's not very reassuring

if you have a low budget, quality companies low end products are better by 100 fold

you get what you paid for...but you have to start somewhere, so good luck
