:D Finally getting back into it...
Decided to get my hands dirty and went ahead and jumped into the driver side kickpanel, and got the box almost done. ITs together but if it doesnt have a million screws in it it isnt 100% so im in the middle of that process. Will be doing the 45's inside along the rear port face closest to the sub and completing resining the enclosure prior to wrapping. Cam is dead so ill post pics probably on monday...If i feel froggy enough ill start on the amp rack
welp the front stage is fully functional, onto the bondoing of the drivers kick and im golden. Actually im extremely happy with the depth and sound so it was woth it. No cutting of the metal like i was worried id have to do so its cool. Box is running off of the 5+6 channel bridged as i didnt wire in the 1501 and its pretty level sounding cant wait to see more power, and ill be posting up sunday night after that one is done and wrapped
and bro, i dont care what anyone says I only turst titebond so far
i used a 100 pack and still have to go back and do one side. I fill the tops in with glass anyway, but its just stronger...i think...

alright, this was the initial ruff fitting to see if i got the imaging to line up
. There was one casualty in the making of these....I killed one of my momo grills pushing the stupid clips back in so i need to begin searching. Those are some strong *** grills and definitely will keep feet from damaging the speakers. The complete setup is being run off of a jl 6450 six channel and suprisingly i get a decent amount of bass with the 5+6 channel bridged at 8 ohms on the sub. (Put it in for a roadtrip). Hopefully the box will be pulled this week and the glassing on the front face and completing to resin the entire box from there. Next week will be amp rack and rewire so the 1501 can go in and give me some wattage.
Im happy wife likes it, kids said its focused so im cool.
I initially angle the speakers on a board using plumbers tape which is in one of the pics
.
From here its time to just post the link...cause im tired lol
Page 7 Is the Kick Builds...Enjoy, their functional so im smiling, but not being pretty is killing me on this side.

Im sticking with a component set in the kicks and mid woofer in the door. Thats honestly been the best sounding setups, ive run so im gonna keep it on that level. I still havent made a woofer selection yet for the doors, so im still using my momos there. was thinking of a set of the diamond hex 6.5s or slcs in the kick and probably the tangband 8s. thatll be next month, after i get my defiitive date for school.
don,
Id have to see what you have
i dont mind the work lol. Its just a thing of waking up and being like TODAY IS THE DAY. And dependent on how far you are from bk that may be possible (Making a trip soon) lol
