Just finished installing my 7998!!

Yeah I went out in the freezing cold this afternoon and installed my Alpine 7998 and all I have to say is wow this think freaking kicks A$$!! Blows my 9815 away for SQ!!! Heres a few pics for you guys...

Yeah the tuning ability on this this is nuts! It sounds alot better as well idk how they did it but it does... Ive only been able to play around with it for maybe an hour so im not very familiar with it yet...

lol yeah I think im gunna pick up the h701, but im gunna get some more wire and try and go active with what I have right now for the time being...

I had one of those ... and I loved it. Very nice units with great adjustability. Do the iPersonalize deal on Alpine's site and keep your config CD handy. Great for when your battery dies so you don't have to manually reset your xover and EQ settings.

Yeah, this deadhead is great. I've had mine for more than a year, and the sq and adjustablity still amazes me.
