Bit of a problem.

I dont have time to look to see if there is a theard about this already so if there is sorry and just give me the links butt anyways heres my problem.

I have a 4th gen. maxima.

Sigh one thing after another.

Ok i bought new back speakers cus my other ones were blown so i go to hook them up and now none of my speakers work. funny thing is that the sub is still hitting and the amp works but no sound from speakers.

I tried to put my old ones back in and nothing still. The speakers do work because i hooked them into my amp and powered them that way but my sub sounds like *** and i cant turn the stero up loud..

I am think somthing wrong going from my cd player to the speakers? dunno

anybody had this prolem or know how to fix it?

Be more specific. What are you running? How is it wired? I can't tell if your speakers are amped or not from your post.

Pioneer head unit was installed by circut city.
6 1/2 sony xplods in the doors and 6x9's in the rear

everything worked fine i bought new speakers for the rear because one was blown. Went to hook it in and soon as i touched the negative wire all the speakers went off and the system shut off. Everything came back on excpet that no sound comes out of the speakers. I have checked the wires and everything and it se4ems to be ok

reset your head unit. same crap happened to my friend and none of his speakers work. he just disconnected the HU...waited 5 mins or so...and reconnected it back. everything works fine now.

no experience with pioneer HU's, but on kenwoods...there's a reset button. not sure on yours though.

If something kicks off when you touch the negative, you may have a short in your wires.
