Have my eye on a pair for a respectable price, but cant find any literature?!. Any ideas? Considering a set of focal 8s in the doors, but now im still in the same boat with the dang xover situation not even being NEAR looked at.

The audio control dqs will set me back 360 from my local guy and im pretty sure I can get that to work. Looking at the efficiency on this mid, I think that itll be plenty lowd for the car setup, but all i can find is some home setups and

I was looking to just throw in a set of the diamond s600s's again, but this looks to be a better option, especially since i have my momos sold. Also picked up another xtant 604x with an rmb8 module.

Sorry no personal experience with this speaker. Audionutz aka Steve Head used to run them, so you may wanna e-mail him. This is more of a question to ask on carsound or elitecaraudio. Theres not many on here who have really sampled many different high end speakers well installed.

I wan't able to find any more literature than you've already found. These belong as a dedicated midrange driver, not as midrange/midbass, so they need to be part of a 3 way frontstage. Not sure if you were planning to use them that way or not.

 

how did u like ur s600's i have them now, im not too happy with the mid bass they put out. i find it to be a very hard speaker to tune, but that may be because of the avn5435 that im using.

 

in going with these I was considering a pair of focal 8s for a dedicated midbass in the doors, and something for the high end, really unsure of what i am going with there.
The guy says that he has a set of horns as well but I really cant see myself running that strong of a stage in the front. The pricing on the focal stuff will set me back in the neighborhood of ~300 and hes recommending horns with it...I personally dont see that, may just go the easy route and get a comp set. I was happy with mine, I cheated and had a set of kicker rmb6's though for midbass duties along with them. On those in the kicks I had an audio control unit and was more than satisfied with it (Believe it was an eqx). I was running the 5.25s. They were an 8 out of 10 in my opinion (With the silk tweets).
