Well I'll be taking my car in tomarrow to get the amp and amp rack installed. I'm going to tell them to build one in either side of the trunk. Hopefully it'll turn out okay. I'm see if they can make it removeable. I'll post pix when its done.

Rear deck rattle is through pretty much any gen. I would suggest some sound deadening material.

It total was like $95 Iwent out this morn before work and removed everything and cleaned it up. After seeing how it was all done and how easily I fixed everything I wished I had done it myself, but I don't own the necessary tools to make the rack and stuff. I'll post pix when I get off work tonight. They won't be getting anymore of my business....

Good stuff, thats not that bad of a price i guess. In my old car I had a baffle board made with 2 8 inch pioneer free airs mounted in the pass through of my 240sx. Two subs with the board mounted and with grills was like $250. so minus the two subs $100 bucks is about what I paid.

Where did you go to get the work done?

It was this lil shop upthe street from my house called AutoWerks. I went there cause every night I would pass by there would br these nice nice custom rides wit Lamdo doors and big wheels so I figured the would be good at stuff like that. Maybe they are, maybe he just half azzed on my car.

Thats possible. He probably thought you wouldn't care as much or something like that. But that's **** poor even for a rushed or non effort job.

Believe me, if I had the time, materials, and tools, not to mention the palce to attempt a build like this I would have, but buy the time I buy everything I need tools included I would have spent that anyway, so I think it was worth it.

Yeah I kinda thought that but it alwasy seem to be too loose there. I kept it there but now since my amp is in I don't have those loops to the left thats why it gone. Maybe I'll try that spot again.

The premade one looks so good though and from feedback its obviously built well. The shop here would charge a ton for something like that and I dont have the time or tools to build a box.

I use mine in the middle, it keeps things from bumping into the box...

Once you add the cost of carpet, adhesive, packaging and shipping, he may not be coming out as far ahead as you guys may think. But he is getting a lot of business from you guys, that's for sure. I'm curious about his 5th gen setup once it's out.

Well I went and took everything out and redid it myself here's a few pics. Let me know what you think.

Remember this is my first Semi-Install.... lol.

Started like this:

AutoWerks did this horrible job, but it was a start:

This is what I did myself and instead of screwing it into the car like they did I wanted it to be more easy to move or remove so I used industrial Velcro and it works like a charm. Tight as if it was screwed down but easily removeable.

Oh and another thing. Can any of you tell me how to remove that rear deck carpet? Wit the the subs I get a lot of rattle form the rear deck, I thinks its from the deck vibrating up aginst the window, because when i hold pressure down on it the annoying nosie stops and I hear nice bass. I have a sock stuffed back there now but I want to add some cushioned trim around the edge or something.
