This box fits perfectly in the Maxmia trunk T410X3A http://www.mtx.com/caraudio/archive/...4000Loaded.cfm

I have it in my 05 now, it fits so tight I thought it wasn't going to fit until we gave it a little shove. Now it's nice and snug and it still leaves the rest of the truck available.

I will try to post some pics but we are moving and I'm just buried with stuff to do.

there is a seller on ebay who sells a dual sub enclosure that fits perfectly in our trunks and looks custom made. It is built spefically for our car. Look at this link, this is the box:

Prefabbed boxes are crap. The Ebay guy might make good boxes but its hard to know unless you know somebody who has owned one.

Alright check this out. I just finishd making my own box. It fits on the wheel wells. I made them out of fiberglass and mdf. I have no digital camera except for my crapy camera phone. I'll take the pics and post them in a bit. Cant promise good resolution, but i'll do my best.

Hey you ******* my box? LOL any box can be bad, my box is only there to add some bottom end to the stock system not shake the ground. It does what I need and for $150 bucks shipped from Crutchfield it was a no brainer.

I agree with Maxmale, the opening is small but I kinda like that box that Killah posted. A good woofer for 1cu ft will make turn it into a $300 plus box and of course it's a sealed enclosure, so you will need plenty of power.

I don't know too much about box dynamics but I do know I want to upgrade the look in the trunk. I have a prefab now and it sounds pretty good. (just looks thrown in there now) This ebay box says it has 1.07 cu ft per side/chamber, and my JL subs ask for .70 cu ft. How would this box interact with my subs??? Any input would be appreciated...

Im sure the Jls would sound decent but the best will be a box built to spec for a specific sub. I do like the way that ebay box looks, nice and clean. But it also appears that it seals it off kinda like a wall so it seems like air couldnt really move to the front of the car. Oh yeah, im not doggin your box Apollo, just stating what ive heard and read from many car audio forums.

It's all good, I was only kidding anyway. Prefab from a quality company, I would trust only because a real good custom box is gonna cost $$$$ upwards of at least $500+ including woofers. If your not gonna put some monster woofers in the custom box then way bother. Save yourself some money and get a good prefab from MTX, JLAudio, Fosgate etc.

Feast your eyes

JLAudio
http://mobile.jlaudio.com/products_e...php?page_id=12

MTX
http://www.mtx.com/caraudio/products...ures/index.cfm

Fosgate
http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/produ...1%20Enclosures

I heard that Fosgate box blow away everything in the store at Ultimate Electronics. Problem is, doesn't fit. See Maxmales comments.

Myer84, I like it. How does it sound?

I've got one and it works great. He modified mine to take two 10"s instead of 12"s. For the right price, you could probably get
him to mod it to work with 15"s.

That's hot... looks like 2 12s might be the limit though... I think 2 15s might make the proper box just too big to fit in there. And they'll probably open your trunk when you hit the bass...

Is that the Ebay box? If so I've been waiting to see it with those Subs. I've been cheakin that box for a while, but I have the Kenwood 12's like that and i was worried about fitment. Those look real nice in there. Did you mount your amp to the seat or the box?

So I'm thinking of getting one of these to clean up the trunk a bit. Boone, you are definitely happy with the sound of of that that box? What kind of/how much power are you running to them?
He has a 10" version for sale on there now:

It sounds great and the workmanship is top-notch. I'm using a KAC-9152D 1800 watt mono amp mounted to the box to power the speakers. I also have a Phoenix Gold 1 farad cap. It's mounted out of sight on the side of the box.

I hope that you are able to find someone to fab you a nice enclosure for them to clean up your trunk and dynamat the heck out of the car. I am working on my system I have a a box that I built for my last car that holds my infinity perfect 12. I am looking at a focal sub since I have focal components front and back. I think it looks great! I would get that box if I was going to run 2 subs, but over the years Ive gotten out of the whole scene of big a$$ systems in my car because the last car I had with this got stolen. Ever since, I just use one 10" sub or 12" sub just to add more bass and I dont want to sacrifice too much trunk room either. But it definately looks good.

Got my box and installed it over the weekend, nice snug fit and nice tight bass...
Hey Boone, where did you put your amp? I had mine mounted to the back of the seat but this box fits so snug, there's no room back there!!
(I'll post pics in the next couple of days)

Some kind of Hard plastic, I think I'm just going to exchange it. I only paid $79 each for them so it doesn't bother me too bad. I have another on the way as I type... lol

So you were not able to make it fit wit the Amp on the back of the box? I'm trying to decide which would be better. I feel if is on the back of the seat it would be easier for me to take the box out if I needed too.

There's no room on the back of the box or the back of the seat, this box is made to fit almost too perfectly. It snugs up to right where the seat back meets the trunk. You could fit a magazine in between there and that's about it...

Hmmm, that maybe an issue. So I assume yours isn't pushed back all the way? I guess I'll take it outside now while its empty a do some test fitting.
I was almost sure that there was a decent gap big enongh to fit an amp. between the seat back and actual opening to the trunk...

Geez, you weren't lying!! Once I realized I still had a gap inthe front i pushed once more and there went the space i thought a amp would fit.
