Help me decide on a few things....

ok my last questions here have been about how install a deck in my girlfriends car. now its time for my car. im gonna completely take the bose out all together. i wanna put a microvision screen in the car as well. one question i have is wether or not you guys think i should get a decent deck say alpine or eclipse that doesnt play the dvds and buy a seperate dvd player, or just buy the jvc 5100 that plays dvds. also, i work at best buy and get things basically at cost. so im thinkin about just puttin alpine type r coaxials up front for the time being. until i can afford components. then i will throw the coaxials in the back. my question is how will alpine coaxials compare to the bose? ino everyone here hates bose but i mean can alpine coaxials compare to bose components. i dont want to put them in and get worse sound. what do you guys think i should do. by the way, im gettin alpine because i get there stuff really really cheap. like i get the type r components for 100 bucks.

Why would you NEED mdf baffles? You can mount most 6.5's right to the stock locations where the bose speaker once was.
