What to do with a 5-channel amp?
I bought a 5 channel amp awhile ago since the stock bose amplifiers were dying- so replaced them with one 5channel amp in the back with a sub. I've upgraded the radio, so now I actually have more than enough power going to the speakers, but should I leave it that way, or is there a way to channel more power to the sub?
Currently it's set up this way: 4*75W to speakers, 1*200W to sub.
The sub sounds pretty good (ported enclosure, creates alot of bass), but any way to wire everythign up that will sound better?
Currently it is HU-> AMplifier via RCA's, -> speakers and subs via speaker wire. Also, the HU has an option to control the sub independently, but currently the sub isn't connected to the HU directly.

By any chance is your amp a USAmps 5600? That's what I have and I love it. I have the OEM non Bloze HU. I used 2 converters off the back of the HU to run to the amp in the trunk. Then speaker wire back to the OEM wire in the dash. (not the best set up, I know) I have Eclipse components in the front and Infinity Reference coax in the rear. I have a DVC sub running at 2 ohms wired direct to the amp (@2 ohms the amp pushes 300 watts)
One way for it to sound better would be to get a sub running at 2 ohms and use the amp to push the 4 cabin speakers, rather than running them off the HU.

Thats IF he has the amp your referring to and IF he doesnt already have it that way.

You said run another set of RCA's to the amp. What will this do?
