Alternator Pulley

Does anyone know of a company that makes smaller alternator pulleys for our cars?

Well my friend needs a more powerful alternator for his system but he doesnt have the $400+ that one would cost. Now if we can get a smaller pulley to put onto the stock alternator then it would put out more amp at lower rpms without having to rev the car.

I don't suggest it either. The stock alternator has that pulley size for a reason. Get an alt that is meant to produce more than stock amperage.

I dont need it, but my friend does. I dont think that it will burn out at idle as the aternator will be spinning as if the car is driving at 10-15 mile per hour.

ok maybe not at idle. So are you going to switch back to the normal alt pulley when do decide to drive the car? What will happen at wide open throttle? Think you won't burn it out then?
