Not a problem, Don. I just couldn't believe the crap that started to arise in this thread. Hell, if he's spending $3k on a system and he wants it to "thump" you could always show him what 2 Flatlines can do...

lol...people are stuck on the kappas/Solobaric crutchfield era stuff....haha that soooo 1995....it must be back like cooked crack

Reality is there are so many companies with complete product ranges-across the buddget brackets- just so that their lower lines will put the overmarketed stuff to shame.

Scoobay, I run all JL and diamond audio, my preference, i have tried everything out there, jsut depends on the sound you want. I feel strongly that JL audio fits everyones needs, Rap, Country,Jazz Rock and Roll..what ever your flavor JL seems to do a great job. Just remember, when building a system there are alot of small things that are not considered that add up quickly, so if you go to a shop and have it done or not make sure you get not only what you want but what you need as well.

I am calling complete on you, pal. So you've heard a Rainbow Profi set? Dynaudio? Focal Utopia? I mean, you've tried EVERYTHING out there, right?

I would have to point you to
JL Posts

This will provide you with links to such items as the adire audio brahma, the dls sp15, the tc2, and if all you want is ear splitting gut wrenching bass the RE XXX. There are more out there, but i stand with the whole listen for yourself to build a reference. When you have that reference you can then shop for something similar and have a known point your starting fronm. Start hitting the shops and demoing all that you can. Then come back and let us know "about"what is your speed.

What is your front speaker setup? I've personally used the JL XR's and I think its some of the worst crap out there. Oh well, I run DLS Iridium 8" 3ways in my toyota sienna and a digital design/vifa setup in my truck
