Stereo makeover
Ok wassup peeps. Im upgrading the stereo and I have just about everything I need. I have purchased 2 kicker L7 12's, a Rockford fosgate power 1500bd,
2 gauge amp kit,200 a circuit breaker, custom 6th gen sub box, and a nissan/bose adapter, 3 farad cap, and 50 ft of dynamat. Only thing I need is a yellow top. I hope this system will kick much ***. I wanted to know if anyone was using a yellow top battery and if so, which model??

if its going to be used as a main battery go with the red. That is more for starting the car. If your going to run it low or play the vehicles stereo with it off, then go with the the yellow.

Got it a little backwards there. Blue top is for marine use.
Also there are variations of the yellow top.

Well they have proven otherwise to me but to each their own. I wonder if you guys know that there is a seller on Ebay who makes sub boxes to fit out 6th gen trunks exactly. Leaving no gaps and it slides ALL the way back to the seats and leaves plenty of trunk space. The seller has square or round cut holes. I have one in my trunk right now and I love the way it looks. As far as those adapters are concerned to "keep your signal clean", also a gimmick. You are perfectly able to tap the signal coming out of your OEM HU without the use of those adapters, which, in theory, when adding extra components, keep the signal LESS clean/uninterrupted.

You can upgrade your big 3 with quality 0awg power wire to start off.

75% @ 2 ohms is the claim, and I didnt say I proved it...I said it is good enough for me. Yes, that is what a hyper ground is. Dont you call your car a maxima?? The name is the name, what can I say. Whats in the Jersey waters man?! flame on

I've done a before/after with my friend's car that we put Blehm's kit on.
There was a slight noticeable difference, it was pretty nice. If I have some extra wiring sitting around and I'm bored one day maybe I'll do it, just for something to do.

One of those "bored" projects for sure.
Why spend $50 when the wire and terminals are no more than $7-$8

You would be wise to pay close attention to what these guys are trying to tell you. Not flaming you, just honest responses from some guys with a good amount of knowledge on the subject.

No I am using a Red Top. The yellow top is recommended as a scondary battery, the red is recommended as a starting deep cycle battery.
By the sounds of your RF amp you might need an isolator and second battery. They draw alot of juice.
