Spring Break Work log
Many of you are familiar with my spring break plans:

Looking at the weather, I think kickpanels will have to wait another month or so. Nothing i do with fiberglass in the 40's ever turns out the way I want it. Everything else is a go. I was supposed to start yesterday but ended up goin to work....on my vacation......but its ok cuz I really need the money. So I started today....
Day 1:
Today I gutted my trunk and Installed my new trunk strut. Bye bye torsion bars! My new box design thanks to the removal of those annoying torsion bars has given me a bunch of space. I didnt even relize how much space until i slapped the box in. Anyone running 15's or multiple 12's has to do this if you have a 4th gen. Only one problem, i could only find 1 strut that had the proper specs. I needed 2. I installed 1, and it holds the trunk up fine, but it doesnt lift up by itself when you open the trunk, which is fine for now. i went ahead and predrilled holes for the strut on the other side so i can add it later.
Right now i'm on lunch break. Plans for the rest of the day are to seal off the trunk from the cabin and get the sub box secured. I have a lot of minor things to tweak. Hopefully i can start building the amp rack tomorrow.
Pix will be posted the end of the week. I take pictures the old fashioned way

Day 2:
Box is secured. Cabin is sealed from the trunk. ready to roll on the amp rack. First I gotta modify my mdf floor and add some sections to it. Then i gotta lay everything out and draw up the amp rack. Tomorrow I'll start building that bad boy. I gotta pick up some relays and other stuff tonight.
