Amp bridge question
I'am running 2 10" 4 ohm subs off a two channel amp that puts out 400x1 at 4ohm and 100x2 at 4 ohm.... if i bridge the amp would i be putting 200 watts rms to each sub? I got a little confused about that
thanks
thanks

How many times are you going to ask questions relating to the same thing? how about asking the q in the 1st of the 29834789023 threads you started about this?

Get rid of the 4 Ohm subs and get 8 Ohm subs if you want this amp to work more efficiently with a pair of woofers. As it stands now, you can run one woofer per channel in stereo. If you wire them in parallel and bridge the amp, it's either going to protect or overheat.

I'm not mad, didn't mean it to seem that way. I'm just saying instead of creating post after post about similar things you could have just ADDED them to the other previous posts. Post as much as you want, just keep like posts together.

I changed my wiring back to just stereo 4 ohm, each sub to it's own channel and it sounds better than i expected with only 100 watts to each sub!
Gotta love that punch bass control +18db..... Still thinking of upgrading to type-S model though, DVC's are much sweeter i think

What is the problem with the bass boost? Why do they offer them with the amps if there bad for them?
I like dvc's for that flexibility... yes i know it does not have anything to do with the quality of the sub. My little svc 10's pound nice and deep for my taste... But im no serious bass head like u guys i guess lol...

Really, it seems at least to me that it makes my subs have a "cleaner" deeper sound when it's cranked up... But I could see where it would possilbly damage your sub from all that constant low frequency... But wadda I know I know if i leave the **** only 1/4 to 1/2 the way up it does not sound low like i like it, these subs are rated to 32hz so they should be ok right? Just threw me off when slickrick refered to bass boost as "the devil" lol...
he also said that it would damage my amp?? now why would they design an amp with something that would destroy it

The point of using it is to make up for audible inaccuracies in getting the speaker to have flat response. (this is all IMO btw) If the speaker is not playing in a flat zone on the FR you can add a little bb to get it to where it shoud be, but its always to be used at your own discretion.
