Worst part about metal-backed deadening.

Also, when you don't regard where you throw the scraps, and step on them, or roll on them....

had some extra 1/4" mdf laying around...left over from making some speaker mounts for the max. anyhow, build a ghetto-@$$ looking box for the rainbow. it sounds surprisingly good hooked up to my home stereo. it's getting ~60 watts. the box is .12 cu ft before displacement . each speaker have seen at leasat 10 hrs of music time on moderate volumes. they're should be plenty broken in by now. now to install these b*tches into the car.

I know the feeling...I wait around all day for a package when I know it is coming that day. nothing worse than missing a package.

i know, it makes me so mad when i do miss one, makes me even more mad when i'm sitting at the computer right by the door, decide to get up and look and there is a fedex sticker saying they were there 5 minutes ago, i think they purposely do that, lol

the flatline is in, it'll be tomorrow before i get the pics up.....dunno how to upload them, since cardomain only works 5% of the time, and while i'm at it i'll take pics of the amp, which comes in tomorrow, gotta pull my seats out and get ready for the amp kit, 4gauge, so its gotta go basically up the middle and through a hole in the firewall that we are going to cut, to keep it looking as clean as possible

hey can anyone tell me the wire colors for the rear speakers in a 98 w/ bose? im getting my system soon. 2 12" Jensen Subs in a Bandpass box from circuit city for $130. Its my first time wiring up a system and im really excited. My friend is choosing the amp for me but he doenst know what wires to use from the rear speakers. Once i know which wires, i plan on splicing female rca's into them as it is the cheapest way. thanks.

ouch, we had to start somewhere

but check the stickies, i'm sure there's wiring codes in there that kevin typed up.

Don, the rainbows came with these little black thingies...looks like tiny bits of silicon? what are they for?

my first consisted of pioneer and fosgate, alright for starters

hey does anyone have suggestions for a cd player, seems as if mine is shorting out cause it will every so often cut the control for my amps off, have to mash the reset button to control them again, so i'm replacing it, screw kenwood anyways they didn't fix it when i sent it in. so i was looking at the eclipse cd7000, any good?? i doni't want a AVN, just a cd/mp3 player with built in equalizer would be nice

AND while we were tuning my 6x9's the amp decided to send some loooow notes to it.....blew one of them, so now i only have them set up to play treble notes so suggest me some nice component 6.5's, arc got good speakers??

just put some decent 6.5s coax's back there. no need for components in the rear IMO.
