RCA cable question for installers

What is the shortest length RCA cable that you would suggest using to run from the HU in factory location directly to the trunk (along the hump) for an amp mounted on or near the back of the rear seat in a 4th gen?

im gonna say your best bet is 15 feet. not positive though, you may be able to go shorter, but at least this way you always have a little extra in case you move things around.

ive used 6 feet to get an amp connected to a hi/low converter, so it should be fine, i say go with 15 feet and roll it up for slack.

16 will reach, 18 for comfort, you can get it almost anywhere in your trunk with 18.

Thanks for the replies. I asked because I thought that the 4 meter ones would be about right. I have 6 pairs of decent quality ones that are only 10' that I bought because I got them dirt cheap and was hoping that I could use them. I didn't spend much on them so it's not a big loss if they're too short.

10 could work if you run it straight fron the dash to the trun pass through under the cup holders etc. No harm in trying.
