bose sub w/ aftermarket headunit

Anyone know if the Bose sub works with an aftermarket headunit, assuming you use the Scosche adapter?

WTH would you want to do that? Just get some nicer aftermarket speakers.

If you want bass out of 6.5's you need 6.5 midbass speakers. A two/three way coaxial will not give you much bass at all, they are not designed for it.

So then make a new thread, state your budget, listening preferences, etc, and we will suggest products for you.

MUCH more effective than hijacking people's threads.

While we're talking about the Bose sub does anyone know the wattage output on it? Just curious.

uhhhh, does that mean you dont know? No one is caught up in a numbers game, a friend of mine and I were pushing my bose system the other day to see how it sounded at high volume and it sucked ***. The 8 inch free air sub is horrible and that got us wondering what kinda power Bose rated it at. It sounds about like my buddies 8 that he's running with 40 watts.
