Help having problems with my antenna

ok im having problems with my antenna its not receiving any radio stations its gets them for a lil bit but not clear sounds like static.i check all the connections seems ok wires checked radio settings everything is fine. I think im gonna need a new antenna can anyone recomend a antenna replacement?

Hmm what kind of radio is it? Is the motor functioning? Do you have it wired in properly? I've never had antenna problems in my 4th gen.

Its a JVC avx2 . i was having the same problem with my alpine so its not the radio.yeah motor works fine antenna goes up normal.Its just seems like its barely picking up any signal. Its driving me nuts

Are the Maxima antennas amplified? If so, have you hooked up power?

That i know i dont think they are amplified!!!!
