Slickrick's Deadening Worklog
I have 140 sq ft of SS Damplifier which I am putting all over the max. Kevin (kpr10is) is installing the deadener due to his extensive knowledge of the 5th gen max. Now onto the pix...
the max stripped:

lol hell no. I wanted to but due to time constraints (finals and stuff) I just tried some cheap carpet cleaner. I thought it was dirty but I am glad it doesnt look too bad.
I highly recommend it because tapping the roof makes me feel like I have a quality car. Had a quick rain test and heard ZERO rain drops on the roof.

well I did the "foam" trick following kojiro's write up, but with the bass I have the foam becomes useless. I am looking for a new rear deck. I want to screw down a piece of birch over the bose cutout then deadener over the whole rear deck. my ghetto bose cutout simply did not give me the results I wanted.

Have you driven it yet? How is the road noise?
