Sub opinions

While searching on www.uscaraudio.com in the subwoofer section I ran across these: Power Acoustik ****-12 - 12 Inch **** Series Subwoofer 2400W. Any inputs or recommendations on this sub?

I know some SPL competitors that have used these with decent results. If you want it for a daily system that actually plays music, I wouldn't recommend it. As slickrick said, what is your budget?

i heard several setups in town, wasn't too thrilled with its response in terms of sq. it did get pretty darn loud though.

nah, I'm just wondering about these. I am using 2 10" RF DVCs. I came across that site and saw those. They have some IDMax and other brands on there.

If that were made by some reputable company, it would perform alot better. PA is renound for making low quality visual art pieces for car audio. Their products really aren't worth a darn.

Manny was running there subs for a while I like the older stuff now that I've learned. And obviously I've moved on to bigger and better things. Whats the word on some 7"s or 8"s in 2 ohm for IB?

$200 to spend on them now. $300 in 2 weeks. Let me know what falls into my range. IB and 2 ohms are the keys.

Well I wanna get the most efficient setup. 160 x 2 rms at 2 ohm with the 4150. So I could go with 2 8 ohm subs, DVC 4 ohm or just 2 ohm.

exactly why I asked, theres more choices than just a 2Ohm driver. The OA8s are 8Ohm, but dont think theyd fit. Maybe the Alusonics or the Arc 8s.

Can I swing by after work? So you can take a quick peek at the rear doors? Also I guess they don't HAVE to be IB specific. We can seal up the rear doors.
