I'm trying to find a good weekend project to install a alarm system. I currently have the K-9 Classic 5t, had for for about 5yrs without any problems and all batteries have been changed regularly. I recently had to jump start my dead battery and I think it took a spike from speaking to others. Anyway, I would like a system where I can install a auto start, trunk release, window down, etc. and all the up to date basic alarm functions

From what i see in ur pic it looks like u have invested alot of money in ur car. So i think u would should get an alarm that pages u if anyone it messing with ur car, its a good deal cause it has a 1 mile radius and it is fairly cheap.

Get the viper 550 esp. Comes standard with remote start, and a whole mess of other stuff. You can buy the window module, proximity sensor and the list goes on. Retail is like $250? without install.

Clifford Concept 100 (I have this one) fully loaded with windows, remote start, windows, etc. Viper and Clifford are sister companies and usally are NOT sold over the counter unless you know someone. Otherwise their are no warranty on the alarm.

Thats the way I like it
"Over the counter" I can warranty my own install too bad the unit itself will not be if I do the install. From doing a few search I realize that some unites like Viper are not sold over the net. That DEI sure do have several units under their belts (Viper,Hornet,Wasp,Python, etc) they all are probably related internally.

Hey Dave
I just read another thread you started about your company in SD, Tweeter. Cant you guys get these units at dealer cost and sell for a "small" profit. (I'm not trying to take food out your mouth, lol) That Clifford unit you got sounds pretty interesting.
