I'd say anything on the bottom or the sides.... I wouldn't use any bolt hanging down from the rear deck, though. I tried that with my amp and it wouldn't power on. Ended up using the seat belt bolt for the back seat.

i used a threaded bolt from the rear sub after removing paint from inside of the cabin.... was just easier than the seatbelt trick... though they say grounding low is bad...

the spare tire well is fine. that's where i grounded my amps to. just make sure you sand off any paint before securing the ground.

Grounding low is bad? So by that logic..a ground bolt through the roof is best?

I used the back seat mounting bolt. Just remove the bottom seat cushion. The seat belt bolt wouldn't budge (probably a good thing).

ah, probably different between the gens. the metal in my spare area is fairly thick, so i grounded it there.

if youre looking into the trunk, pull away the carpet/plastic away thats there to the left on the wall, mine is on a bolt behind there. only bad thing is it makes my ground kind of lengthy... the shortest ground wire is the best.

If you can get away with a lengthy ground, use one of the holes behind the carpet/plastic, I just got a large bolt, nut, and washer and cranked it down there.. Don't forget to sand all the paint/primer away first also... No prob. with mine so far
